Do you see any Teletubbies in here? Do you see a slender plastic tag clipped to my shirt with my name printed on it? Do you see a little Asian child with a blank expression on his face sitting outside on a mechanical helicopter that shakes when you put quarters in it? No? Well, that’s what you see at a toy store. And you must think you’re in a toy store, because you’re here shopping for an infant named Jeb.

You think water moves fast? You should see ice. It moves like it has a mind. Like it knows it killed the world once and got a taste for murder. After the avalanche, it took us a week to climb out. Now, I don’t know exactly when we turned on each other, but I know that seven of us survived the slide… and only five made it out. Now we took an oath, that I’m breaking now. We said we’d say it was the snow that killed the other two, but it wasn’t. Nature is lethal but it doesn’t hold a candle to man.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I only sign up for a care plan if you designed my website?2025-12-24T10:47:53+00:00

Anyone can sign up for my website care plan, even if I didn’t design yours.

If I:

  • Didn’t design your website
  • Or I did, but it was more than 2 to 3 months ago

Then I’ll need to audit your website first to see if everything’s running smoothly. If it isn’t, I’ll send you a separate quote and proposal of work to fix it before the care plan kicks in.

What if my website has a subdomain?2025-12-13T15:21:34+00:00

Care plan pricing is per site — and a subdomain (like shop.yoursite.com or members.yoursite.com) counts as a separate site if it runs its own WordPress install.

It might live under your main domain, but maintenance-wise it’s a whole other beast with its own plugins, settings, and potential chaos. So yep — it needs its own plan too.

If it’s something super basic or low-maintenance, I’ll take a look and can quote accordingly. But anything with its own setup gets its own support.

What if I’m not sure which plan I need?2025-12-13T15:21:06+00:00

No stress — I’ll take a look at your site and recommend the plan that best fits what’s going on behind the scenes. You won’t be left guessing (or accidentally under-covered).

What happens if something breaks or stops working?2025-12-13T15:20:43+00:00

That’s exactly what your care plan is for. Things like plugin conflicts, dodgy updates, or weird bugs are all covered — I’ll get them sorted as part of your regular support time.

If the same issue keeps coming back or the site needs a lot of hands-on fixes, I’ll flag it. Sometimes it means there’s a deeper problem under the surface that needs proper digging into. I’ll always check in with you first before doing anything extra — and we’ll figure out the best way to fix it properly.

Will you let me know if something needs fixing outside my plan?2025-12-13T15:20:30+00:00

Absolutely. If anything pops up that’s outside what your current plan covers — like a big layout change, a deeper investigation, or something that’s not a quick fix — I’ll always flag it first and send a quote. No surprise invoices. Ever.

What’s not included in a care plan?2025-12-13T15:20:04+00:00

Ongoing support, updates, and small fixes are all part of the deal. What’s not included are full redesigns, new feature builds, or anything that falls into “bigger project” territory. That kind of work is quoted separately.

What happens if my site edits take longer than my allotted time?2025-12-13T15:19:44+00:00

Fear not! If you’re signed up to a WordPress Care Plan, then you get a discount on any extra work that needs doing.

Does any unused time rollover to the following month?2025-12-13T15:19:08+00:00

Sadly, no. It’s a set allocated time every month. If I were to rollover hours, it would become difficult for me to manage my time effectively, and I would more than likely have a self-induced drama queen mini meltdown.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?2025-12-13T15:18:50+00:00

Absolutely. If your needs change — up or down — we’ll adjust your plan to make sure it still fits.

What happens if my site changes or grows over time?2025-12-13T15:17:32+00:00

If your site suddenly adds a shop, booking system, or starts getting loads more traffic, I’ll check in to make sure your plan and hosting setup still fit. It’s all about keeping things running properly, not squeezing a high-maintenance site into the wrong plan.

Is hosting included?2025-12-13T15:17:07+00:00

Hosting is optional — some clients already have hosting they’re happy with, and that’s totally fine. If you’d rather I take care of it, I offer fast, secure WordPress hosting and can include it as part of your care plan at no extra cost for standard websites.

I use green UK-based hosting powered by 100% renewable energy — so your website runs clean without costing the earth.

If your site’s particularly large, gets a lot of traffic, or has features that need more server resources (like a shop, booking system, or membership area), I’ll review the setup and let you know if we need to look at a custom hosting option — just to make sure your site runs properly without slowing anything else down.

Am I locked in?2025-12-13T15:16:33+00:00

Nope! You are free to cancel at any time.

Can I easily update the website myself?2025-12-24T10:34:54+00:00
Absolutely! You can update your website yourself, and I make it super easy with a handy user manual that walks you through everything. If you’d rather not figure it out solo, I can jump on a Zoom call and guide you through it via screenshare — think of it as your personal website GPS, without the annoying voice directions.
How long will it take?2026-01-02T09:25:57+00:00

Faster than a caffeinated cheetah on roller skates. (Okay, maybe not that fast, but close.) Your shiny new one-page website usually takes about a week to build – no fluff, no faff, no “wait, where’s my homepage?” drama. I keep things streamlined so you’re not twiddling your thumbs while the internet waits to meet your business.

Can I add more features or pages later on?2025-12-13T15:12:08+00:00
Oh, absolutely. Your website isn’t set in stone – it’s more like a living, breathing creature (but, you know, without the weird noises at night). If you want to add more features or pages later on, we can totally make that happen. When you’re ready, just give me a shout and we’ll chat about what you need, what makes sense, and how to fit it all together without turning your sleek site into a digital junk drawer.
What if I need more than one email address?2025-12-24T10:37:56+00:00

Ah, so you’re feeling fancy and want more inboxes, huh? I can hook you up with up to three email addresses as part of the package. Need more than that? We’ll need to chat about the best way to make it happen — think of it as a VIP upgrade for your email empire.

Why is this offer excluded from the various payment options?2025-12-13T15:12:45+00:00

The reason this offer is excluded from the payment options is because it’s as budget-friendly as a thrift store on a blowout sale day. We’re talking about a steal of a deal here, so it’s like the universe is saying, “Hold your horses, partner! This offer is so damn affordable, we need to limit the payment options to keep things balanced in this topsy-turvy world.”
